Emo Hair, Scene hair and Styling Tips - Hair Scene -

Straightened you hair? if not read here. So to start off the things you should have to style your emo hair should be:

Hairbrush

Hair Wax

Hair Spray

(read products page to see the best products to use) With any emo hairstyle, male or female, long or short, it should always be started by brushing your hair. After this it depends whether you want a flatter more natural style or a rougher “spikey” style. For a flat natural style you can work wax into your hair and work it down to the tips which gives your hair a far more defined style, for a messier look rub a pea sized lump of wax into you hair and work to the tips.
Only you know the style that you want to achieve, so i therefore cannot tell you the exact methos to achieve what you want but look through our gallery and use it as a rough guide. I am going to give you tips on the main hairstyles to help you along.

Male tips

This style is quite a popular style among males. The main method to this style is to rub wax into the hair and work it to the tips, then hairspray *lightly*, then the usual part is to straighten after the light hairspraying it makes the hair very defined. then hairspray to finish.

This style is actually my hair, from a while ago, this style is done much the same as above, straighten, work in some wax,. lightly hairspray and straighten again. To make the spikes stay straighten then upwards, and use hairspray to style.
Female tips

This style is very popular in females, alot of this style is to do with the cut as is clear to see, but for the most part it is backcombing your hair on the top and using hairspray to keep it in place, remeber to straighten before. A hairband is then placed between the fringe and top hair to enchance the messy hair on top.

This style is very easy, a good brush and so hairspray gently styled. Again the style has alot to do with the cut.
